Music and Meaning Concert: "Love and Longing"

Pianist Lisa Weiss and soprano Michelle Ravitsky will present an eclectic recital of art songs by Jewish composers, including Mendelssohn, Mahler, Schoenberg, Gershwin, Weill, Previn, Laitman and more. Lisa is a longtime member of BHC, music professor emeritus at Goucher College and a seasoned performer. Michelle is the Development and Operations Manager for the Children's Chorus of Washington, D.C. and has performed with the Houston Grand Opera, Washington National Opera and Opera San Antonio.
