Pianist Lisa Weiss and soprano Michelle Ravitsky will present an eclectic recital of art songs by Jewish composers, including Mendelssohn, Mahler, Schoenberg, Gershwin, Weill, Previn, Laitman and more. Lisa, a long-time member of BHC and Professor of Music Emeritus at Goucher College, is a seasoned performer, hailed by the New York Times as "a musician worthy of attention and able to hold it." Michelle has performed with the Houston Grand Opera, Washington National Opera, and Opera San Antonio, and is the Development and Operations Manager for the Children's Chorus of Washington.
